A little about myself..

Hi, I’m Angie — the creator of Wayward Art Haven. I began painting during a period of recovery from burnout, looking for a way to reconnect with my creativity and bring a little light back into my life. What started as a personal outlet has grown into something more meaningful — a space where I can share my art with others who appreciate imagination, beauty, and a little chaotic magic.

I’m an Army veteran and a former Veterinary Technician, and I’ve had the chance to live all over the country. These days, I’ve settled in Colorado with my partner, our dog Diesel, and three cats; Pancake,Waffles, and Tinkerbelle. I paint in my free time, and each piece is created with care, inspired by everyday magic, and the hope of bringing a bit of that feeling to others.

Every purchase helps support my work, allowing me to invest in new supplies and continue creating. Thank you for being here and for supporting independent art. This is a new adventure for me, and there’s room to grow — I truly hope you’ll join me on the journey.

Behind the Art

All of my paintings are made at home, outside of my regular 9–5 job. Painting has become a way for me to slow down, be creative, and enjoy a little quiet time.

I’ve always loved fantasy books and movies, and that love often shows up in my work — through colors, themes, or just the feeling of something a little magical.

When I’m not painting, I enjoy visiting art galleries, hiking, reading, and spending time with my family. All of these things inspire me and help keep my creativity going.
